In 2009 New Trier staff members, and native Haitians, Maurice Bonhomme and Jean Cayemitte, approached New Trier Service Learning Coordinator, Carolyn Muir, about helping a school in their home country. A fundraising effort turned into a complete rebuild of the school following an earthquake. Photographs of students in the St. Joseph School in Petit-Goave, Haiti.
