Glencoe School had an art show and a music performance was given under the direction of Miss Alice Kingman, physical training and playground instructor. Students are installing equipment in the school yard. On Wed. night, June 18, eighth grade students will peform "Ivanhoe". School closes June 26. The following teachers will be employed the coming year: special instructors, drawing, Miss Ida B. Porter: music, Miss Elizabeth Brack; physical training and playground instruction, Miss Alice Kingman; physical and manual training and playground instructor for boys, James S. Pedler; grade teachers, Miss Clara M. Dietz, Miss Clara A. Lynter, Miss Alice Pierson, Miss Bernice Hawley, Miss Gertrude Adair, Mrs. James B. Olmated, Miss Amanda Cowan, Miss Caroline Weber, Mrs. Barbara Laughrey; kindergarten, Miss Clara S. Hammond; assistant, Miss Lydia Dietz. Only two changes are made in the personnell of the teaching staff. They are Miss Bernice Hawley and Annable Cowan, who will fill the places left by Miss Ada Kuhn and Miss France Keating, grade teachers. Miss Keating will teach in the Chicago grade schools next year. Miss Kuhn will retire from teaching.
