Mrs. Catherine Waugh McCulloch spoke to the current events class at the Evanston Congregational Church Sun. morning. She criticized the Illinois legislature for only working 3 days a week while the California legistlature works 6 days a week. McCulloch criticized the Vice Commission. McCulloch reported that 34 states, including Illinois, favor an anti-poligamy bill; it hasn't passed in Illinois yet. She is supposing that none of the education bills will pass the Illinois legislature. The Cooley bill may pass. Miss Mary L. Childs is presiding over the current events classes. On Sun., June 8, Mrs. Robert Berry Ennis will speak on "The Growth of the Playground Movement."
