Betty Chesnut Irons, age 86, of Northbrook, IL, formerly of Flossmoor, IL, died at home on April 1st. Betty was the eldest of five children born to Mack and Elsie Chesnut of Collison, IL. She was married to Spencer E. Irons for over 54 years. They are survived by their three children, Janet, who lives in Massachusetts, as well as Nancy and Edward who both reside in the Chicago area. Edward is married to Kate and is the father of Betty's two grandchildren, Julia and Richard. Interment will be at the First Unitarian Society of Chicago in Hyde Park with other members of the Irons family.
