Erwin J. Herrick of Wilmette died Tuesday in his home at [unclear] Linden avenue. Mr. Herrick, a village resident for 35 years, was insurance manager for the Glenview Realty Insurance Agency and formerly was associated with the Continental Assurance Company. He also was an active member of the Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth. He is survived by his widow, Irene Fletcher Herrick; a son, Herbert of Deerfield; a daughter, Mrs. Betty H. Schopen of Wilmette; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be in th Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home in Wilmette from 6 to 9 this evening. Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Church of the Holy Comforter, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago.
