In memory of his son, Rufus Fearing Dawes, Charles G. Dawes, Greenwood boulevard and Sheridan road, will erect a hotel for destitute men in Chicago next winter. Dawes son, age 21, was drowned in Lake Geneva on Sept. 5 of last year.
