After an illness of only four days, John Olsen, 63 years old, for thirty-five years a tailor in Evanston, died in the Evanston hospital Monday afternoon of pneumonia. Mr. Olsen was one of the oldest tailors in the city, and was well known. He became suddenly ill Thursday and was removed to the hospital.

Mr. Olsen was born in Trondhjen, Norway. Besides his wife, he leaves nine children. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. A. Hoave of Chicago.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Swedish Methodist church, Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The burial will be in Rosehill cemetery.
