A very pretty home wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Shantz, 1053 Linden avenue, Wilmette, Ill., Sunday evening, April 6, when Mabel A. Shantz and Homer G. Cazel were united in marriage by the Rev. J. W. F. Davies of Winnetka The bride was attended by her niece, Dorothy Jane Shantz, as flower girl. The bride and groom entered to the strains of "Meditation" played by Mrs. J. E. Shantz, and the ceremony was performed under a bower of smilax. The bride was given away by her father, M. E. J. Shantz. A reception was hend to fifty-five friends and relatives. Pink and Green were used for table decorations. The bride wore white chiffon over Messaline, trimmed with rhinestones and pearls. After the reception, the couple left for Olney, Illinois, for a short trip, after which they will make their home in Pittsburgh, PA.
