Peters, Carolyn (nee Schofield), age 74, of Glenview. Beloved wife of James H. Peters; proud mother of James W. and Andrew (Sandra) Peters; doting grandmother of Natalie and Christina. Born in Anderson, Indiana, she was a graduate of Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA. A passionate volunteer, she served as head of the Visiting Nurse Association of Northern New Jersey, Treasurer of the Volunteer Action Center of Morris County, and active in the Junior League of Morristown and the Twigs service organization for Morristown Memorial Hospital, and Den Mother for cub scouts. She served as President of the Owners Association for the Townhomes at Glenlake Estates in Glenview, Illinois. Visitation Thursday, January 26, 1:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service 4:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Road, Skokie. Interment private.
