Ziegler, Dorothy S. (nee Schuman) Age 92, of Wilmette for 18 years and formerly of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2012. Beloved wife of the late John D. Ziegler; loving mother of Carol (James) Antell and Barbara Bowen; loving grandmother to Geoffrey, Molly, Gregory, John and Christopher. Beloved aunt to Bruce (Wendy) Smith, David (Rosemary) Smith, and Linda (John) Lundberg. Mrs. Ziegler was employed in the City Clerk's office of Elmhurst for over 20 years before retiring and moving to Wilmette to be closer to her family. She was born in Chicago on July 21, 1919 and was raised in Maywood, IL, the daughter of John and Louise Schuman and sister of the late Eleanor Schuman Smith. A Memorial Service is planned for late February. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winnetka Presbyterian Church, 1255 Willow Road, Winnetka, IL 60093
