Boyer, Beverley Hawes (nee Date) 88, passed away January 18, 2012. Beloved wife of Richard G. Boyer and the late William D. Hawes. Loving mother of James T. Hawes(Jean Pressel), Carol A. Hawes, and Martha L. (Steve) McClallen. Stepmother of Sharon (Steve) Neece, Susan (Rob) Woodsome, and Tracy (Mark) Sawires. Proud grandmother of Sam (Cindy), James (Nicole), Amanda (Bryan), Matthew, Jonathan, and Jason. Step-grandmother of Matthew, Erik, Evan, and Nicholas. Great grandmother of Kelsey, Wesley, Hadley, Noah, and Maddox. Beverley was a retired teacher of Howard Jr. High School in Wilmette. She was a deacon and 42 year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette. She was also an alumna of Denison and Northwestern universities; and a 70- year member of Delta Gamma. Memorial service Friday 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette, 600 9th St., Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment private. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette.
