Ziehlke, August "Augie" 81, longtime Northbrook resident, passed away at home August 7, 2011. Augie was very active in the Isaak Walton League and North American Hunting Club. He was a pillar of his church, North Northfield United Methodist Church. He enthusiastically protected the environment God gave us. He is survived by his daughters, Joanne (Edward) Kenney and Lyn (James) Reece; grandchildren Janet (Erik) Blackstad, Marylyn, Emily and Matt Kenney; great grandsons Jensen and Reece Blackstad; sisters Margaret Ziehlke and Charlotte Hunter; and many nieces and nephews.
