Hitchcock, Col. Vincent Thomas (Retired U.S. Army, 2009), 53, of Glencoe passed away June 18 after a brief illness. Dear husband of Anita Diaz; devoted father of Elizabeth and Steven Hitchcock; beloved son of Mary Lou and the late Vincent A. Hitchcock; loving brother of Gail (Deno) Panousieres; fond uncle of 6; nephew, cousin and friend to many. Vincent worked at Allstate for over 20 years and also was a soccer and hockey referee. Visitation Wednesday 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Rd. Skokie. Funeral Mass Thursday 1:00pm at Sacred Heart Church, 1077 Tower Rd. Winnetka, IL 60093. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anti-Cruelty Society, 157 W Grand Ave. Chicago, IL 60654-7174 or American Cancer Society , 820 Davis Street, Suite 400 Evanston, IL 60201 or charity of choice.
