What honors or special recognition have they received? Send news to The final ASK letter for this year’s Annual Fund will be sent out next week. The Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health mandates health requirements for students. Students who have not met these requirements will not be permitted to attend St. Joseph School until all health requirements have been met. Treats after Mass

Brick sales

People can honor a St. Joseph graduate, alumni, parent or volunteer by buying a brick. For more information, see the brick flyer attached to this week’s newsletter on Edline.

Recycling success

This is the second month in a row that the school has collected over five tons of paper. Each ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water. The 17 trees saved (above) can absorb a total of 250 pounds of carbon dioxide from the air each year. Burning that same ton of paper would create 1500 pounds of carbon dioxide.
