The annual Alumni newsletter will be published in August and the school would like to hear what recent grads are doing: Where are they attending school? What honors or special recognition have they received? Send news to email@example.com. The final ASK letter for this year’s Annual Fund will be sent out next week. Those who haven’t given should consider making a contribution before June 30 when the school’s fiscal year ends. The Annual Fund is what helps subsidize tuition to keep it affordable.

This is the second month in a row that the school has collected over five tons of paper. Each ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water. The 17 trees saved (above) can absorb a total of 250 pounds of carbon dioxide from the air each year. Burning that same ton of paper would create 1500 pounds of carbon dioxide.
