The Glencoe Equal Suffrage association will hold its next meeting Friday, Nov. 1, at 2:30 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Sylvan Newhall. Mrs. Grace Wilbur Trout, the recently elected state president, has very kindly consented to be the speaker of the afternoon and will take for her subject, "Suffrage from the American Woman's Standpoint." She has been president of the Political Equality league, is a member of the Chicago Woman's club, and also the Daughters of the American Revolution. The middle west has perhaps no more gifted and charming personality than that of Mrs. trout, who is considered one of the most brilliant leadersin the woman's cause in Chicago. "Is Witty" She is convincing, witty and forceful, and is a public speaker with a large and varied experience. The women of Glencoe, who are suffragists, will not fail to hear Mrs. Trout, who has been chosen to represent them throughout the state. Those who are not convinced, will, at least, become acquainted with the arguments in favor of suffrage as set forth by a woman whose interests and experiences are broad and who has a reason for the faith which is hers.
