The Commonwealth class of the Congregational church had for its topic last Sunday the platforms of the three different political parties. The speakers were sent by their respective parties from the Chicago headquarters, and Mr. McCulloch of Evanston was the first speaker and spoke for the Democratic party. Mr. George Adams, former congressman for this district, spoke to the Republicans, and Miss Vittum spoke for the Progressives. Each speaker was allowed a fifteen-minute speech and five minutes to answer any questions which were asked them.
