Mr. and Mrs. John Haslam are in New Orleans.
The pictures and stereopticon views shown by Mr. Percy Eckhart Sunday at the Union church were greatly appreciated by a large and enthusiastic audience.
Dr. Victor S. Balderston, health commissioner of Evanston, addressed an interesting meeting at the home of Dr. R. B. Stolp a week ago Sunday, the Evanston health authority speaking on the needs of a contagious disease hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Lester are home from New York city.
A packed house witnessed the plays Saturday at Assembly hall.
Mrs. F. E. M. Cole and Mrs. John Vennema were hostesses on Oct. 21 to the members of the Union church guild.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward G. Phelps have announced the engagement of their daugher, Miss Susan Hamill, to Mr. William F. Zimmerman, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Zimmerman, also of Kenilworth.
