Brief notice of weekly activities at the school. Teacher Appreciation week celebrated. Kindergarten students enjoyed American Eagles production of "Charlotte's Web." Third grade class saw "Fire in Boomtown" a musical retelling of the story o The Great Chicago Fire. Fourth grade class celebrated Earth Day with a viewing of Disney's new movie, "African Cats." Afterward the students traveled by bus to the Wilmette Harbor where they were joined by Central School alumnus, Mr. Tingey. Each student released a rainbow trout from the dock into Lake Michigan. They have been growing for the past five months at the Wilmette Pet Shop. Positions open on the PTA board. Recess volunteers needed.
