The April 5 vote resulted in an adoption of the referendum that increases funding for District 39 and safeguards programs such as art, physical education, technology, library and differentiation.
Central School's Garden Committee needs new and returning volunteers to help prepare Central's wonderful garden for spring planting. Interested volunteers should meet in the garden at 9 a.m. April 28.

Parents with children in preschool who will turn five before Sept. 1, should stop by the Central School office for a kindergarten registration packet. The lottery for morning placements will be held April 28. To be included in the lottery, registration forms need to be in the school office by April 27.
