High school students can learn dance moves from top choreographers and dancers while helping a great cause during New Trier's Spring Fling/Dance for Life 2011 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday in dance studios G12 and G14 on the Winnetka Campus of New Trier High School.

The Spring Fling is a full day of dance workshops and master classes in hip hop, jazz, modern, ballet, musical theatre, yoga, Pilates, audition tips, lyrical, ethnic, contact improvisation, and nutrition.

Instructors include world renowned choreographer Harrison McEldowney, former Hubbard Street Dance Chicago member Cheryl Mann, Erica Edwards from the Joffrey Ballet, Brian Hare from Thodos Dance Chicago, and many more. The cost to participate is $30, and all proceeds raised through registration and donations will go to Dance for Life, a non-profit organization created to raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS care, prevention, and education. The organization also promotes the art of dance in Chicago.
