During February the Ann Briery Gallery at New Trier High School is featuring the work of sculptors, Jason Chakravarty and Derek Parker. Winter Carnival will be held March 4. The annual event is in support of the senior class service project with Habitat for Humanity. Liette Brisebois, French teacher is seeking a French speaking person to work with teenagers. Under the direction of Canadian filmmaker Julie Perron, senior students in New Trier's French cinema class will create a mosaic of filmed portraits of French speakers in our community. Zengeler Cleaners collecting prom-dresses for Glass Slipper Project, a Chicago charity that gives away prom dresses to girls who could otherwise afford to attend the dance.
