James E. Kellyn called a meeting of the Sherman Avenue residents on Monday night to protest a new contract with the street car company who operates on Sherman. A petition was drawn up and is presented in this article. The following committee was appointed to determine frontage and obtain signatures to protest. Messrs. Work, wiley, Stewart and Rosenberg. The following committee was appointed to draft a constitution and by-laws for a permanent organization: Messrs. Harper, Wiley, Larson, Atwell. Smith and Nelson. A committee to take care of the legal side of the movement was appointed and consists of Messrs. Harper, Wilson, and Wiley. Mr. James E. Kellyn was elected temporary chairman, and William R. Wiley, secretary.
