President's brunch Feb. 11 raised almost $21,000 for the school. Organizers were James and Alida Nally of Glenview. Committee members were Mary Ann Chambers and Randy Romei of Northbrook; Julianne and Joseph Cooper of Glenview; Maureen and Christopher Griffith of Lake Forest; Mary and Larry Hollie of Chicago; Clare Hennessy and Rick Sabones of Chicago; Judity and Thomas Jaconetty of Chicago; Cathy and David Mayer of Buffalo Grove; Julie and Terrence O'Brien of Chicago; Anne and William Pauls of Northbrook; Mary and Steven Penio of Park Ridge; Sarah and Eliseo Thorrens of Deerfield. Chorale and chamber choir members led by music director David Heitt, sang: Meghan E. Nally (Glenview) Christine O'Brien (Wilmette), Nicole Venezuela (Morton Grove), Mary Bohlke (Chicago), Taylor Trompeter (Northfield), Tracy Windlinger (Northbrook), Elizabeth Ave Maria (Morton Grove), Annice Coughlan (Chicago), Hannah Hiett (Lake Bluff), Colleen Quirk (Chicago), Megan Reisberg (Chicago), Jordan Roti (Morton Grove)
Track and field team began its season Feb. 24 under coach Mark Szczepkowski with Tim Smith, Jamie Cieplinski, John SMith and Tom Hagensick assisting. The team has 45 members. Senior captains are Amanda Labuz, Maria Gobbi, Elizabeth Ave Maria and Grace Ansani. Sophomore Brittany Johnson returns in shotput, discus and sprints; Sophomore Julie Campanaro runs the 400-meter ddash, 1600-meter relay and 100-meter dash; Junior Julienne Samuels performs in long jump; senior Grace Ansani runs the 400-meter dasy; Junior Caitlin Hehir does high jump; Cathleen Pike runs the 55-meter dash.

Families of deceased alumnae gathered Feb. 25 for the annual Mass of Remembrance. The names of all alumnae who have died, beginning with the class of 1961, were read by Dr. Kathleen Burke and Sr. Maion O'Connor, O.P. A special prayer was offered for Elizabeth Kotecki and her son who were killed in a car accident.
Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering team competed at Oakton Community College Feb. 2 in the Regional Academic Challenge and took first place in the 700 division. Team members: Christine O'Brien of Wilmette; Hannah Koch of Evanston; Katherine Szmyd of Chicago; Elizabeth Anichini of Chicago; Kelly Roderer of Evanston; Kimberly Griseto of Skokie; Kathleen Golemblewski of Chicago; Kathryn Trela of Glencoe; Pauls Acuna of Skokie; Nina Cho of Glenview; Hyein Jeog of Wilmette; Paula Acuna of Skokie; Angelica Del Toro of Chicago. WYSE moderator is Bernadette Hayes. Coaches are Bernadette Hayes, Patsy Mueller, Julie Mcclure, Tammy Nguyen, Kim Fermoyle, TIm Smith
