Karen Thompson, a professional book group leader on the North Shore, began conducting workshops in 1997 for teenage mothers at Family Focus in Evanston. The program is called Literature for All of Us. Supporters at the program plan to gater Saturday at the Michigan Shore Club in Wilmete to honor Thompson and Literature for All of Us, celebrating the group's 10th anniversary.
