Elliott Guzofsky of 711 Lamon in Wilmette died April 17 at Skokie Valley Community Hospital. Mr. Guzofsky, 56, was a partner in the firm of Mark James, Inc., a Lincolnwood direct mail marketing firm. He was an innovator in the marketing of merchandise through cable television. He was a member of the Conservative Congregation of the North Shore and Ravinia Green Country Club. During World War II Mr. Guzofsky was a ski trooper with the 10th Mountain Division. He also served on the board of Spertus College of Judaica. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; a son, Jay; a daughter, Barbara Goodman; and his mother, Minnie. Services were conducted April 19 at the Piser North Suburban Memorial Chapel in Skokie. Burial was in Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery.
