George Turnley (Bud) Dyer, Jr., 76, died Oct. 2 in Winnemucca, Nev. His great grandfather, Thomas Dyer, was the founder of the Chicago Board of Trade and Mayor of Chicago in 1856. Mr. Dyer was born in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Russ Dyer, Two daughters, Barbara Moore of Atherton, Cal., and Joan Evans of Dallas, Texas; three step sons, Philip Shanley of Evergreen, Colo., David Shanley of Moraga, Cal., and Donald Shanley of Westport, Cal.; and 11 grandchildren.
