- Glenview Hangar Foundation held it s first annual fall fund-raising event Oct. 29 at the new Westin CHicago North Shore in Wheeling and drew a crowd of more than 120 people. It raised more than $42,000 for the foundation which aims to secure land on the Naval Air Station and build a permanent larger museum and learning center while still operating their current location on Lehigh Avenue. The purpose is to commemorate and preserve the historic contribution of the men and women who served at the Naval Air Station Glenview.
