Notes:
Workers from F. J. Kerrigan Plumbers hit a high-pressure gas line last week closing down several square blocks of downtown Wilmette. Nicor representative Annette Martinex said Tuesday the line was marked, but she didn't know if it was marked correctly. After a yet-unscheduled hearint of the Illinois Commerce Commission, state fines are possible for either party. No one was hurt Nov. 29 after the main in the alley behind the North Shore Community Bank, 1145 Wilmette Ave., ruptured during foundation work to add underground insulation.
