Both Loyola and New Trier had trouble adjusting to the artificial turf last week in the semifinals of the Illinois High School Field Hockey Association state tournament at Oak-Park-River Forest, before the Trevians won over the Ramblers 1-0 in Saturday's third place match. New Trier Goalie Sarina Sawyer received special mention.
