A woman shoplifter who stole thirty-eight pairs of men's hosery from Worthern's Men's store late last Saturday afternoon was overtaken after an automobile chase and arrested. The woman gave her name as Ruth Lapoint, but it was later discovered she had several aliases, was a narcotic addict and had a record for shoplifting in Chicago.
