New Trier Township voters followed closely the Chicago Bar Association recommendations for judges in Tuesday's election. Voters also chose repeal of the 18th Amendment [Prohibition]. Harry C. Kinne of Wilmette, in spite of strong local support, did not win his election. Judge Daniel P. Trude, Republican, polled the highest vote inthe township. Judge Frederic R. DeYoung, unopposed for justice of the Supreme Court received almost 5,000 votes.
