Edward J. McCarthy, 76, 834 Sheridan road, Wilmette, died suddenly on Monday at his dairy farm on the Du Page river near Joliet. Three sons and two daughters survive Mr. McCarthy. The sons are John V. McCarthy of Joliet, Edward J. McCarthy, Jr. of Rogers Park, and Gerald F. McCarthy of Wilmette. The daughters are Mrs. Joseph A. Kolb and Miss Edith A. McCarthy, both of Wilmette.
