Gustaf Johansson, 77, of 121 Fourth street, Wilmette, died Tuesday [19 Nov 1963] in Evanston Hospital. He came to the United States from Halmstad, Sweden, where he was born, at the age of 24. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth M.; two daughters, Mrs. Martin (Charlotte) Kaufman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Carl H. (Karin) Meyer, 111 Ninth street, Wilmette; a son, Dr. K. Richard Johansson of Bethesda, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Oberg of Racine, Wis., and Miss Elin Johansson of Halmstad, Sweden; two brothers, Eric of Bay City and Johnn of Halmstad; and eight grandchildren.
