Arnold Aaron "Babe" Cohen, 85, a resident of Glencoe, formerly of Winnetka, died May 11 in Highland Park.

Mr. Cohen was born May 19, 1919 in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Ruth (nee Cohen); one daughter, Marlene Ann (Arnold Bernard Kaber) Cohen of Dallas, Texas; one son, Stuart Lee (Rolly Susan, nee Stein) Cohen of Highland Park; four grandchildren Carly Ruth and Stacy Michelle Kaber and Harris Matthew and Abra Beth Cohen; two brothers, Jerome "Jerry" (Gertrude "Gert" nee Sobel Mantell, and the late Muriel, nee Lichtenstein) Conn and Bernard (Joanne Carol, nee Nobilio, and the late Elaine Shirley, nee Geller) Kahn; and one sister, Maxine Beth (Michael Jay) Topper.

He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel A. Cohen (also known as Sam Kahn) and Anna Chimerofsky Cohen of Chicago and Union Pier, Mich.; his step-mother, Pearl Buckner Kahn; one sister, Fay (the late Eugene "Gene") Epstein; his mother-in-law, Mayme Burton Cohen; and two brothers-in-law, William (Virginia, nee Carlson, and the late Byrde, nee Levy) Coleman and the late Marvin Henry (Lillian, nee Goodman, Sager and the late Charlotte Ruth, nee Klein) Coleman.

Interment will be at Rosemont Park Cemetery, 6758 W. Addison St., Chicago IL.
