Riley E. Swart, 91-year-old Civil war veteran, died on Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur G. Stanten, 1014 Pontiac road. Burial was at Graceland cemetery. Mr. Swart served throughout the Civil war as a member of the 13th Wisconsin volunteers. Born at Sydney, N.Y. Besides the daughter in Wilmette, he is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. George E. Brown of Seattle, and Mrs. G. W. Lawton, Mrs. A. A. Fredricksen and Mrs. A. W. Stewart, all of Chicago, and by three sons, David of Spokane, Wash., Edward of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and William of Michigan City, Ind.
