Mrs. Phoebe Ellen Krueger of 125 Ninth street, Wilmette, wife of George Krueger, a buyer for Montgomery Ward and company, died at her home Sunday afternoon, March 10, at the age of 53 years. Mrs. Krueger had been ill since December. She was a resident of Wilmette for fourteen years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her aged father, Frank Bitney, of the Soldiers’ Home, Hot Springs, S. D., and three brothers, Robert Bitney of Fremont, Neb., Herbert Bitney of Atkinson, Neb., and Fred Bitney of Grass Valley, Cal. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Scott’s funeral home, 1109 Central avenue, Wilmette. Burial took place at Rosehill cemetery.
