Mrs. Verta H. Pfahler, 58, of 204 Sixth street, Wilmette, died at St. Francis hospital in Evanston Friday night, November 22, following an operation on Wednesday. Mrs. Pfahler, who was a member of the Wilmette Presbyterian church and the Woman’s club of Wilmette had been failing in health for several months.
She is survived by her husband, Frank J. Pfahler, and two sons, Frank J. Jr., of Wilmette, and John W., of Evanston. Mr. and Mrs. Pfahler came to Wilmette eight years ago from Evanston, where they had lived for fourteen years. Mrs. Pfahler was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo.
The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Clyde Randolph Wheeland of the Wilmette Presbyterian church. Burial [page cut off]
