Mrs. Ella J. Gipe, 76, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Stanley M. Peterson, 231 seventeenth street, Wilmette, Thursday, November 14, after an illness of three months.

Mrs. Gipe had returned to her daughter’s home in Wilmette two weeks before her death from the Evanston hospital, where she had been for four weeks. She was a member of the Wilmette Presbyterian church. Besides her daughter in Wilmette, Mrs. Gipe is survived by another daughter, Mrs. J. B. Warren, of Raleigh, N. C., with whom she spent the winter months.

The funeral services were held Friday afternoon, November 15, at 2:30 o’clock from Scott’s funeral home, 1109 Central avenue, Wilmette. The Rev. Clyde Randolph Wheeland of the Wilmette Presbyterian church, and Dr. Frederick L. Selden of the Ravenswood Presbyterian church were Mrs. Gipe was a member for many years, officiated at the services. Burial was at Memorial Park cemetery.
