Mrs. Hannah E. Norton dies of heart trouble

Mrs. Hannah E. Norton, 614 Central avenue, a resident of Wilmette for more than twenty years, was stricken with a heart attack Thursday night, July 4, after attending the fireworks demonstration in Dyche stadium, and died in the office of Dr. Harry T. Swanson in Evanston. Mrs. Norton had been accompanied to the stadium by her sister, Mrs. C. Mihm, of Hollywood, Cal., and was stricken on the street as she was about to return to her home in Wilmette.
Surviving her are her husband, William W. Norton, general accountant for the Illinois Steel company; one son, Howard, of Hammond, Ind.; her sister, Mrs. Mihm, and two brothers, Jonathan and Daniel Borg, both of Chicago.
The funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, July 6, at 1:30 o'clock at Scott's funeral home, 1109 Central avenue. Burial took place at Lockport, Ill.
