Mrs. Eva W. League, 77, wife of Thomas W. League, passed away Thursday night, May 9, at her home, 1588 Oak avenue, Evanston. Mrs. League was, until recently, a resident of Wilmette, coming here in 1916 from Baltimore, Md., where she was married fifty years ago last October. She was the mother of seven children and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William R. Crawford, of Wilmette, and Mrs. Charles W. Hogg, of Birmingham, Ala., and one son, Maynard League, of Chicago. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, May 11, at her late residence in Evanston and St. Augustine's Episcopal church, Wilmette, with the Rev. Hubert Carleton officiating. Burial took place at Memorial Park cemetery.
