Mrs. Edgar W. Burchard dies at Kenilworth home

Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar W. Burchard in Kenilworth were grieved to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Burchard at her home, 310 Oxford road, early Monday morning, April 29. Mrs. Burchard, who was born in Ohio in 1865 and spent her girlhood in Decatur, Ill., had been a resident of Kenilworth for twenty years, and was active in women's organizations on the north shore. She was also a member of the Chicago Woman's club and the Chicago Women's Athletic club.
Mr. and Mrs. Burchard had returned from a three month's visit in California ten days before Mrs. Burchard's death and had planned to leave this month on a tour of Scotland and England.
Mrs. Gran Keehn (Marjorie Burchard), an only daughter, who resides in New York, is returning from Bermuda for the funeral, which was to be held this Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth, with the Rev. Leland H. Danforth, rector of the church, officiating.
