Mrs. Fannie R. Wheelock, wife of Seymour A. Wheelock, president of the Wilmette State bank, passed away on Friday, May 11, following a short illness. Funeral services were conducted from the home at 822 Central avenue last Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Wheelock was born in Barre, Mass., on October 22, 1852. She became the wife of Mr. Wheelock on March 26, 1872. The following year she and her husband came to Chicago where they resided until they moved to Wilmette in 1883.

Mrs. Wheelock was a charter member of the Woman's club of Wilmette and had been active in civic affairs in the Village, having served for six years as a member of the Wilmette School board and having been active in the work of the church and the Garden club.
