- Full Text
A death which brought with it much sorrow to Kenilworth residents was that of Mrs. Katherine Hannah, wife of the late Alexander Hannah of Chicago. Mrs. Hannah passed away at her residence on Abbottsford road, Friday, January 6. She had been active until Sunday, January 1, when she was stricken by pneumonia. The best medical aid in Chicago was summoned to assist the physicians already in attendance, but to no avail. Mrs. Hannah came to live in Kenilworth about eight years ago that she might be near her family.
Mrs. Hannah leaves a son, Alexander Hannah, and two daughters, Mrs. Arthur McIntosh, and Mrs. Alexander Newton, all of Kenilworth, and a large group of grandchildren, and one great grandchild, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ross (formerly Miss Connie Hannah).
Funeral services were held at St. Francis Xavier's church in Wilmette, Monday morning, January 9, at 10 o'clock.
