J. R. Crocker, former justice of peace in Glencoe and active in north shore politics for several years, passed away Wednesday, September 7, at his home in Lodi, Cal. Death was caused by a heart attack.

Mr. Crocker is survived by his widow [Agnes Taylor Crocker] and three children, Sydney W. Crocker of Detroit, Florence C. de Beers of Glencoe, and Horace T. Crocker of Galt, Cal.

The remains were taken to Rockford, Ill., Mr. Crocker’s boyhood home, for burial.
