Description
Full Text

Word has been received of the death of Miss Kate Adams, formerly the owner of a beauty shop near the Linden avenue "L" terminal, in Tulsa, Okla. Miss Adams had gone west because of ill health and about six weeks ago developed a bad cold. Complications set in and, because of her weakened condition, she succumbed after an extended illness.

Prior to her illness, Miss Adams had been the owner of the first beauty shop in the Linden avenue area and had been more or less interested in the real estate business, later disposing of her interests and becoming identified with Northwestern university, which position she held up to the time of her break in health. She is survived by her mother and sister, both of whom were with her at the time of her death.

Miss Adams was very well known in both Wilmette and Evanston and her passing will be greatly mourned by a host of friends in both communities.
