Arthur Nettleman, 26 years old, 123 Fifteenth street, was drowned in a ditch near Niles Center last Saturday evening. When the body was found by county highway police it was thought that he had been struck by a motor car, but this theory was later abandoned. Police said that he had been arrested in Niles Center earlier in the evening on a charge of drunkenness, and had been released on bond. A coroner's jury decided at the inquest that he had come to his death from alcoholism and drowning.
