Advent celebrated with two liturgies on December 8 presided over by Rev. John J. Foley, president, and Rev. Paul Faulstich, Registrar. Senior, Max Spread, was a participant; Mathematics instructor, Peter E. McNulty of Wilmette, named director of Dumbach Scholars Honors Program; Insignis, student club sponsored Christmas Ho-Ho-Ho Down December 19; Holiday concert at St. James Chapel at Quigley Seminary in Chicago; Pep Rally December 16 organized by P.J. Samorian and Timothy G. Sassen, featured P.E. chair Stanley W. Breitzman singing "Rambler Spirit" and football team captain, Dan Kozlak, placing "2003" on the team banner; Chicago artist Matthew J. Schaefer worked with art classes of M. Jane Carney; Languages Department sponsored annual Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass December 12; Sophomores attended performance by "Theatre Classics" of "The Essential Mark Twain" on November 13
