- Former Wilmette resident Doris S. Braband, 64, of Glenview, died July 9 [1989] at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston. She was followed in death by her husband, Leonard T. Braband, who died July 15 [1989] at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. He was 63 years old. Mrs. Braband was born in Evanston and Mr. Braband was a native of Chicago. They are survived by seven children, including James Braband of Wilmette, Betty Ann Albert, John Braband, and Thomas Braband, all of Glenview, Kathryn Braband of Winnetka, Patricia Lynn Bechelli of California, and Mary Sue Hochendoner of Pennsylvania; and 12 grandchildren. Mrs. Braband also is survived by a brother, Francis Sullivan of Glencoe and a sister, Elizabeth Noleen of California. Mr. Braband also is survived by a sister, Sister Mary Verdiana of the Order of St. Francis in Joliet; and a brother, Frank Braband of Chicago. They both were buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Northbrook.
