Wilmette resident Irving Zeal, owner of The Hut, an Evanston restaurant, from 1940 until his retirement in 1975, died last Thursday in Birchwood Plaza Nursing Home, Chicago. He was 78. Mr. Zeal is survived by his wife, Harriet; three children, Myrna Lee Rodman of Houston, Texas, Jere Glink of Mount Prospect, and Roni Ann Zeal of Wilmette; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, one brother and four sisters. The service May 31 took place in Weinstein Brothers chapel in Wilmette. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge.
