William Wieland, born in Germany 51 years ago, passed away at his home, 144 Woodstock avenue, Kenilworth, last Monday following a very brief illness. Mr. Wieland, the son of the late Jacob and Gottlieben Wieland was one of six brothers who for many years operated the Wieland Dairy company, which was founded by their father. He is survived by four of these brothers, Charles, Robert, and Jacob of Chicago, and

Christian of Pistakee Bay, Ill. Two others, Fred and George are deceased. In addition, Mr. Wieland is survived by his widow, Alma; two daughters, Dorothy, 17, and Arlene Rose, 12, and a son William Robert, 10 years old, and a sister, Mrs. Rose C. Marling of Glen Oak acres, west of Wilmette. Mr. Wieland, who retired from active business with the dairy interests in 1928, had been a resident of Kenilworth since 1931, formerly residing in Chicago. Funeral services were held at the Wieland home on Wednesday and interment was at Memorial Park.
